Fall Harvest Dinner

A Little Something Extra to Celebrate at 2019 Fall Harvest Dinner

Denver's Chefs Dish Up at Acres Farm at Warren Tech

August 19, 2019

By: Acres Farm Staff

The Fall Harvest Dinner marks the end of summer and the beginning of the school year. This year, Acres Farm at Warren Tech has a little something extra to celebrate at their Fall Harvest Dinner. A year-long effort to revamp their marketing efforts produced a new website, leveled up their social media, and the process reminded the farm team of who they are, what they do, and why they do it.

All of this freshness meets the culinary expertise of Denver's best chefs and restauranteurs to create a delicious, beautiful meal for Fall Harvest Dinner 2019 to support high school culinary education, local farming, and the community that arises when people come together to share a meal.

At $85.00 a ticket, this Denver Farm Dinner is a steal and a half, especially with these chefs.

Nick Touch of the Family Jones will be planning two mocktails for the event. Touch opened Denver's spirited restaurant in 2017 to make "anything a good bartender needs...for a world-class bar program." Come to Fall Harvest Dinner to get a taste of The Family Jones and visit them for a tasting and a tour later this fall.

Apropos for a Farm Dinner hosted by an educational farm, chef Alon Shaya, co-founder of the Shaya Barnett Foundation, will also be contributing to the dinner. The Shaya Barnett Foundation provides culinary education and resources to high school students through hands-on curriculum that enables students to gain the real-world skills needed to succeed in today's culinary and hospitality industries.

Chef Alon and his Safta team will be joined by Chef de Cuisine Nick Brand from Denver's Potager to create and serve passed appetizers. The meal continues with four courses from a handful of chefs and their teams.

Chris Starkus from Urban Farmer, a straight-forward local-loving restaurant nestled into Denver's LoDo neighborhood, just next to the iconic Oxford Hotel. Chefs from both Jen Jasinski's Crafted Concepts team and Paul C. Reilly's Coperta Concepts teams will also be dishing up. Rioja, Bistro Vendôme, Euclid HallStoic & Genuine, and Ultreia are all part of the Crafted Concepts group. Ultreia Executive Chef Adam Branz is sure to provide robust, classic flavors with a twist to the meal. Comforting dishes with full flavor are also guaranteed from the Coperta Concepts team, which includes Beast + Bottle, Pizzeria Coperta, and Coperta. Rounding out the main course crew is Jared from Thistle & Mint, who is sure to dish up Colorado on a plate.

And all the plates will be perfectly placed and passed by Denver's A Notte, known for dishing up the backyard comfort paired with the class of high-end restaurants. Ditch the white table cloths, but still get the service and the cuisine at Acres Fall Harvest Dinner on Sunday, September 22nd.

Tickets are on sale now, and there is a lower-priced student option available as well. Hit up one more Denver Farm Dinner this season, and support your future culinary and hospitality geniuses at Acres Fall Harvest Dinner. You won't be disappointed, and you will have fun meeting the chefs and enjoying the fresh air.
